December 1999: Cielo Communications, Inc. Introduction of GBE1250ELX (80km reach gigabit ethernet transceiver) and subsequent press tour led to EDN “Hot product of 1999” award.

June 1999: Selected as Finalist in Ernst & Young’s Rocky Mountain Entrepreneur of the Year.

June 1999: Cielo Communications, Inc. One of five communications equipment manufacturers recognized by Upside as a runner up for HOT 100 list.

January 1999: Led Series B Cielo financing and closed $20M in debt and equity.
